UPS…

4. Lynch The Right Call

There’s no shame in WWE going with the “hot” hand in flipping the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri last year and setting her up with a career win while sending Becky Lynch down a conspiracy rabbit hole.

Yes, the reign was little more than a “pop the crowd” type of moment, with Dupri notching one successful title defense before dropping the belt back to Lynch, but it didn’t do damage to the title itself.

Becky is the right woman to carry this title right now. Maxxine’s reign was a one-way street, and while there might have been a notion to make her a transitional champion, The Man is more likely to get mileage out of the next title change.
