4. Jade Brings Power Game To WrestleMania

The big question mark above Jade Cargill’s head going into WrestleMania 41 was whether she could excel in a singles match on the biggest stage.

Cargill has a ton of raw tools, but she has struggled in the past in big moments on her own, and her grudge match against Naomi was an opportunity to silence the critics.

While not a technical masterpiece or a flawless match, the bout was a hard-hitting fight that showcased her talents perfectly. Jade survived an X-Factor off the apron to bust out a few truly impressive spots. Naomi dove for a blockbuster, only for Jade to catch her and turn it into a Jackhammer. She caught a second dive and hit a Fallaway Slam a bit later.

The finish also saw Cargill use her power game to counter Naomi, standing up with her on Jade’s shoulders to block a Rings of Saturn, and finally launching Naomi from an electric chair position into a powerbomb before finishing her with Jaded.

Overall, call this a good match that succeeded in giving Jade a high-profile singles win that didn’t go off the rails. But as a massive grudge match at 'Mania, this fell short.
