4 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW All Out 2020
1. Another World Title Placeholder?
Before discussing why this one is a 'Down', here's a nice thought: Jake Roberts will soon be cutting main event promos on Jon Moxley and discussing the AEW World Title. That, for a guy who has been through hell and lived to tell the tale, is something to look forward to.
Now, the bad stuff.
Lance Archer is blatantly another temporary challenger for Moxley. If the strength of his challengers will define Mox's reign, then things don't look good; Brodie Lee didn't feel like a high-profile enough program, and now he's about to sandwich the brief brilliance of MJF with Archer.
Unless AEW are about to spring a surprise and really go all in on big Lance, then they'll get one World Title match from him at Full Gear and that's it. Or, worse (for Archer), they might put that match on Dynamite and run with an MJF rematch instead.
That won't do much for Lance or the importance of the Casino Battle Royale.
