4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (April 26)

Ups…

4. Humberto Fires Up

It’s very possible we’ll be back here next week lamenting how Humberto Carrillo got one week of shine after being invisible for months, only to be squashed like a bug. But that’s next week.

On Monday, Carrillo answered Sheamus’ United States Championship (non-title) open challenge once again, but this time he didn’t take his eyes off the Celtic Warrior. That still didn’t stop Sheamus from getting the drop on Humberto, but the luchador turned the tables and was able to drive the champion over the announce desk and leave him laying against the barricade, humiliated.

This presumably would set up a real match next week, after two weeks of shenanigans. If we get a good, competitive match out of it, and if Carrillo actually hangs around on TV instead of disappearing again, then it’s worth it. Otherwise, it’s just fodder for Sheamus, and you might as well just have him obliterate wrestlers if they’re going to be sitting in catering afterward.
