Doudrop exhibited big Shorty G energy in her backstage promo, saying that she was claiming the dumb monicker Eva Marie had given her as a rib and making it her own after seemingly turning on her now-former partner at SummerSlam 2021.

The former Piper Niven is done with being treated like she is worthless. Despite this, she is retaining a worthless ring name.

The least convincing ambush you'll see all week followed, with Eva attacking Doudrop by ramming her head into a flight case that had inexplicably been placed in the ring the angle was held in. The pink-haired one sauntered off after mumbling her catchphrase, so Doudrop called her a "betch."

This storyline is so ill-conceived, it'll take a miraculous piece of writing to turn it around. Niven was cursed from the moment she inherited "Doudrop". Had she cast it aside here, she might stand a chance, but she is making it her identity for a feud with somebody who isn't even drawing the meta heat of old anymore.
