4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 23)

As perversely funny as the Raw crowd completely rejecting Logan Paul was, their reaction to this marks the Moist TV segment as an objective Down.

WWE tried to babyface a widely-disliked YouTuber who once uploaded a video depicting a hanged corpse in Japan's Aokigahara "suicide forest" and tasered two dead rats for content. That was why they had John Morrison (the intended face following the Miz split) buddy up to him and Miz, a career heel, cut him down. They thought this guy was going to get cheered.

And he was rejected. Profoundly.

There were moments where the crowd's decibel almost matched Logan's. When Miz said Tyron Woodley was going to knock Logan's brother Jake out in their upcoming boxing match, San Diego popped. What a mess.

The crowd's rejection aside, the over-reliance on bad "moist" jokes made this tough to watch in the first place. The split angle was significantly better, which will be touched on later, but let's be grateful that the Moist TV era is seemingly over.
