4 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 19 - Review)

1. Lynch, Bayley Renew Rivalry

Hot take: Bayley and Becky Lynch are good at wrestling and mesh well together.

The two Horsewomen battled in their first singles match against each other in nearly four years, flowing back and forth pretty well. Lynch pulled out a few new tricks and some old ones, while Bayley ended up relying on her Damage CTRL cohorts to bail her our at the end, providing enough of a distraction to allow her to cheat to win.

It’s an odd decision, as Damage CTRL seemed to be running on fumes, and instead, Bayley winning gives the group more fuel. Perhaps this leads to Lynch recruiting some help… maybe a fellow countrywoman who has been off television for a while?

Still, this was a fun match that worked fine for what it was on what was largely a throwaway episode of Raw.
