WWE were at least wise to keep Alexa Bliss out of the arena proper last night. Her presence would have triggered more Bray Wyatt chants from a crowd that didn't need an excuse to get rowdy.

Actually, maybe that wouldn't have been so bad at all. At least it would have got a reaction - unlike anything else that happened in her feud with Eva Marie and Doudrop last night.

Eva (with Doudrop) cut a promo on Natalya, Tamina, Alexa, and Lilly before Doudrop faced Tamina one on one. That some of the night's loudest CM Punk chants came out during this bout tells you how invested the crowd were in the rudimentary match that played out before them, which Tamina won when Doudrop missed a cross body that Eva had yelled at her to hit.

Later, Doudrop and Marie tracked Bliss down backstage, knocking her to the ground after Alexa's assertion that Lilly once controlled Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac Killer to murder dozens (!!!). Having been decked herself, Lilly ended up reanimating to spooky music.

It's easier to be forgiving towards universe-breaking content like this when the audience is into it. That means it's working for those people. There is no evidence to suggest that this is the case with Alexa and her wacky Playground, however, with WWE typically muting the arena microphones as they cut to her.
