4 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 27)

8. Recapping SmackDown Feud To Kill Time

Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns
WWE

The shortage of wrestlers available for Raw Monday night clearly led to several time-filler exercises, one of which was a five-minute recap of the Roman Reigns/Paul Heyman saga.

The video itself was (as usual with WWE) very well done, but it had no real place on Raw, other than to eat up precious minutes of airtime because there aren’t enough wrestlers available due to COVID. (Gee, if only they hadn’t released a bunch of guys and gals during the last several months.)

Worse, the Street Profits had entered the ring before the commercial break, which means they stood around in the ring for at least eight minutes before the Mysterios made their entrance. That’s just insane.
