This Sunday, Smackdown Live presents the TLC Pay-Per-View, and whether by chance or by design, it's a pretty major event. Many of the programs that have been simmering since SummerSlam are finally coming to a head, and while that means that there will be no shortage of rematches on the show, they'll all have stipulations in line with the event's specific mandate.
The TLC shows usually deliver in the ring, and with some of the bouts signed for this year's edition of the event, it looks like it won't be an exception. So how would the go-home show for the last Smackdown-brand PPV of the year play out?
Pretty good, overall. While the show was guilty of failing to properly promote TLC's top two matches, there was a healthy focus on the PPV's undercard, making the event seem stronger from top to bottom. Some hot angles and a bit of good in-ring action was enough to make up for other weaknesses and see Smackdown get back on track after a poor showing last week.
