4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (Aug 7)

3. The New Day Losing To Mark Henry And PTP

It seems like nearly every week The New Day will get a win on one show and then lose on the next show. They were winners in the eight man tag on Raw, but then they did the job to the PTPers and Mark Henry on Smackdown. Why does Henry need to get a win anyway? He's 44 years old and probably won't ever get a push again. With all due respect to him, he lost to Rusev in a few minutes on Raw and was made to look like a complete fool. WWE needs to value The New Day more than they currently do. They are such a fun act that continues to find ways to entertain, yet the even-steven style of booking will hurt them in the long run. There's no specific direction for the tag team division right now. WWE puts these teams in matches, they trade wins and then expect the fans to care when they have a title match. If you want us to care, use your best team (The New Day) better because they should be the first priority. This isn't the first time I've complained about The New Day being booked poorly and it probably won't be the last time either.
