If every Hall-of-Fame inductor could weave a story like Konnan, the ceremony would be wildly more enjoyable.

K-Dogg shared the long journey of Rey Mysterio breaking into the business from a first-person perspective, but it never felt like he was putting himself over. The speech was fantastic, putting fans right there along with Mysterio as Konnan helped land him spots in various promotions, all the way to ECW and WCW, where Rey became a household name. He also made sure to talk about Rey the person and how good of a human being he was, saying he often asked if he could be adopted and would even replace Dominik, slipping in a nice burn.

Overall, Konnan’s very easy, charismatic delivery made this a highly entertaining induction, one that will be remembered for a while.
