4 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 12)

1. Cena’s Call-Out

John Cena Promo

Never let it be said that John Cena can’t deliver an impassioned promo when the script calls for one.

After teasing that he was going to simply go to WrestleMania as a fan, Cena decided that he couldn’t be punished too badly and called out the Undertaker for a match at Mania. Realizing that management wasn’t preventing him from making the challenge, he ramped up even more, going directly after the Deadman.

Cena told Taker to “get over your own ego,” repeatedly attacking the Deadman for being too proud to get back in the ring. He called him a “self-centered, conceited egomaniac” and basically dared UT to shut him up.

Obviously, we’ll get a response soon enough, and it should be a good match – better than Taker’s bout last year with Roman Reigns. But Monday’s starting point almost made up for the weeks-long “Cena has no Road to WrestleMania!” dreck.
