4 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 12)

6. Peeling Back The Curtain

It was an interesting choice to have Roman Reigns walk directly backstage and have the camera follow him into the Gorilla position as he went to confront Vince McMahon.

And while it was interesting, it also brought up a couple gripes: a minor one about Absolution just hanging out waiting for their cue; and a Shane McMahon spotting next to Vince.

What? What is the SmackDown commissioner doing hanging out in the control area backstage at Raw? Aren’t these shows supposed to be locked in a rivalry for superiority? Didn’t the two shows compete in seven head-to-head matches just a few months ago at Survivor Series?

But no, there was Shane, hanging out, headset on, sitting next to Vince as Roman confronted him. Whether this is supposed to be breaking the “fourth wall” is irrelevant. There was no reason for a simple, stupid mistake like this.
