4 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 28)

1. Lee Punches His Ticket

Even if no one is expecting a miracle next week, Keith Lee stepped it up Monday night, earning a WWE Championship match on the first Raw of 2021.

Lee defeated Sheamus in a hard-hitting match that saw the Celtic Warrior get a cheap shot before the match with two Brogue Kicks and then target his shoulder for much of the bout. But Lee overcame that onslaught to stun Sheamus with a Grizzly Magnum and then pop him up into a Spirit Bomb for the title shot.

The Limitless One’s ride on the main roster has been a roller coaster, but picking up a win like this certainly has to bode well for him, even if he doesn’t win the title next week. It would just be nice to see Lee with a more defined direction in 2021.
