4 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 17)

1. ‘Is That RETRIBUTION?’

Oh look, RETRIBUTION is wreaking havoc in the control room by screwing around with video shots and breaking laptops.

The black-clad clan struck Raw again in a semi-lame manner, taking over the production truck for a brief period and screwing up WWE’s camera work during Drew McIntyre’s opening promo. But beyond that, that was it for their mayhem Monday night.

Still, that didn’t stop everyone from talking about them ad nauseum. In addition to the announcers yapping about them, McIntyre tried to rally the locker room to stand up together against them. MVP called them out for a fight, then suggested that RETRIBUTION was actually created by Apollo Crews and was the “catering crew” of Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet.

It looked like we were going to spend all of Raw talking about RETRIBUTION, but aside from a video package cataloguing their “chaos,” that was about it from them on Monday night.
