4 Ups And Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2014

1. The Stinger Strikes

The biggest development by far at Survivor Series was the arrival of the Franchise of WCW, Sting. Much has been and will be written about the courtship, signing and eventual booking of Sting, but Sunday night was the first time he set foot in a WWE ring €“ and he made it count. Sting didn€™t come out and stare down a wrestler with nothing happening. He didn€™t cut some cheesy promo about being in the major leagues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU6ffp3cnkI No, Sting walked out in the middle of a main event match that would determine the balance of power in WWE and Deathdropped the COO, Triple H, and helped Dolph Ziggler defeat Seth Rollins. That is how you have an impact. Sting€™s arrival showed younger fans that he is a big deal, and that WWE gets that he€™s a big deal. This isn€™t the company signing any other guy. This was the last WCW holdout. Unless Ted Turner decides to show up on Raw, fans just saw the last soldier in the Monday Night Wars cross over to the other side. Now, let€™s see where everything goes from here. But for one night, fans saw something truly special.
