4 Wrestlers Whose Pasts Caught Up With Them In 2015

4. Zahra Schreiber

Hayley Scott Photography The real life girlfriend of current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Zahra Schreiber was enjoying her stint in NXT, finally debuting at a live event as the sister of developmental star Solomon Crowe. After considerable time spent learning the wrestling business in WWE's Performance Center, it appeared as though the tattooed stunner would finally make her television debut. Then it happened. WrestleZone.com was one of many sites to report that a fan discovered Nazi imagery on the young performer's Instagram account, not to mention a few comments she had made that suggested she may have a racist side to herself. In the wake of Hulk Hogan's firing for the use of racial terms in a videotaped rant, WWE had no choice but to take immediate action. They released Schreiber, not even giving her an opportunity to explain herself. She did eventually comment on the scandal, admitting that it was a poor choice but that, as a woman of Polish descent, she saw the photos as a story of her heritage. Whether that is the truth or a convenient cover is irrelevant. Schreiber was among the first high-profile personalities to learn the harsh reality about one's social media past costing them a great deal of hard work and opportunity.
