Drew McIntyre successfully retained his WWE Championship against Randy Orton at last night's Clash of Champions 2020 pay-per-view, as the past came back to haunt 'The Viper' in the form of four returning legends.

Big Show was the first former World Champion to make his presence felt on the ambulance match. He showed up during the opening stages, nailing Orton with a Chokeslam through the announce table. Christian was next, ambushing 'The Legend Killer' backstage, giving McIntyre another opening in what turned out to be an eventful bout.

The most dramatic appearance was saved for Shawn Michaels, naturally. HBK appeared atop the ambulance itself after Orton had knocked McIntyre to the floor, nailing a Sweet Chin Music on Randy before shoving him off. This opened the window for Drew to come back into it and finally put his opponent away, kicking him in the head (having already hit the Claymore) before closing the ambulance's doors, with Orton driven to the hospital by none other than Ric Flair.

Show, Christian, Michaels, and Flair had all been knocked out by Orton as part of his reborn 'Legend Killer' character over the past few months. Last night, they collected their receipts.
