2. Sami Zayn

We last saw Sami Zayn on NXT TV giving us an update on his shoulder. While he is still recovering, when Zayn is ready to return to in ring action, there is no need for him to return to NXT.

One of the most talented in ring performer that WWE has on the entire roster, there is nothing left for Zayn to prove down in NXT. He's had the chase for the NXT championship and finally reached the pinnacle. He has put on countless matches that have showed off his unique and innovative style. His 2-out-of-3 falls match against Cesaro last year was considered by many to be the match of the year.

Zayn has already made his RAW debut, when he accepted the US Championship open challenge against John Cena. Even after sustaining the shoulder injury early in the match, Zayn showed his heart and determination carrying on against Cena. He is a natural baby face that the WWE Universe can get behind.

In a perfect storyline, we see Sami Zayn return to TV to challenge Kevin Owens, the man who has boasted about injuring Zayn and putting him out of action. The two can continue their career long feud, and hopefully now it will be for the Intercontinental Title (if Owens defeats Ryback at Night of Champions).
