John Cena's 2004 storyline with Carlito was quite possibly the biggest WTF narrative he was ever involved in. What kind of pro wrestling story has a guy being stabbed? It was blatantly ridiculous. The whole world knows wrestling is fake, so trying to pass it off like one wrestler has knifed another is just BS. It is also incredibly bad taste, especially considering what happened to Bruiser Brody in real life. Supposedly Cena had been stabbed by Carlito's bodyguard Jesus, during in an incident in a Boston nightclub. It was a kidney wound, no less. The stupid storyline was actually done so Cena could go and film The Marine movie. Of all the angles they could've wrote him out with, this had to be the dumbest option.
