October is of course the month the WWE dedicates to teaming with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organisation, leading to a new fleet of merchandise, a pink ribbon being displayed in the corner of the screen and the middle ring rope also being the colour pink. The rope in particular looks pretty silly at the best of times, but during a Hell in a Cell match? It's downright laughable. The juxtaposition of the demonic structure and the pink rope makes it look more out of place than usual, and makes it much harder to actually take these matches seriously. Any time footage from these matches is used in a promo, it's just going to stick out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way.
