These reluctant tag team champions make the list because of how long and boring their reign was. Cody Rhodes debuted in 2007, and was thrust in a bit of a hazing storyline with Hardcore Holly, as he’d beat up the new kid. Eventually, Cody would earn Holly’s respect, and they became tag team champions in December of that year.

They’d hold the belts until Night of Champions 2008, and their six-month reign was completely unmemorable. Many of their title defenses took place on Heat, and they never once defended the belts on Pay Per View until the end.

In fact, the only thing truly memorable about their reign was how they lost the belts, as Cody Rhodes made history by switching teams and essentially defeating himself to become new tag team champions with a different partner, Ted Dibiase.
