Pay close attention to the date on which this duo appeared on RAW: March of 2010. They appeared in 2010, decades after their popularity reached its zenith. For those who actually dont know who Cheech and Chong are/were, they were a comedy duo whose characters and skits were basically stoners. They were from the era of free love and hippies, which hasnt enjoyed much of a mainstream appeal in a very long time. For those who didnt watch the video, basically Cheech and Chong are sitting in the GMs office, eating Lucky Charms for some reason, and making crass, off-color Mexican jokes. Basically you had Chavo Guerrero wearing a fake mustache and a sombrero, Primo and Carlito wearing fake mustaches, Katie Lea Burchill also wearing a fake mustache, and Yoshi Tatsu wandering into the room, confused and speaking Japanesewhile wearing a fake mustache. As if that wasnt enough, for some strange reason, a chicken in a cage appeared, announcing a Divas Pajama Pillow Fight Match with the voice of Santino Marella, to which Cheech and Chong together replied, Far out man. Later on in the show, the main segment involving this duo was having both of them eating Lucky Harms and hallucinating...no, seriously. They were allegedly getting high off of Lucky Charms, complete with chill-out music, wavy video effects, and Chris Masterss voice dubbed over with Kelly Kellys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeCEpNL6pt4 Often times, people make fun of wrestling fans because wrestling shows are stupid. Well, for once, those people would be right; this was one of the strangest and otherwise stupidest segments in WWE RAW history. Maybe it was a subliminal message aimed at young audience members to stop eating so much sugar or else theyll become diabetic. If so, then it was somewhat clever. But more than likely it was an attempt at having two comedians long past their prime show up and barely contribute to the show outside of comedy skits. Also, Hornswoggle was the enabler of bad eating habits in these segments. Take that for what you will.
