UFC 199 was one of the best cards of the year, headlined by a middleweight title fight featuring champ Luke Rockhold facing challenger Michael Bisping who was stepping in on short notice. The end of the card saw the British veteran with his hand raised after knocking out the overconfident Rockhold, which concluded a night of fireworks that began much earlier in the event.

The opening clash of 199 featured lightweights Marco "Polo" Reyes taking on Dong Hyun Kim. Much like the previous entry, this was a fight between two guys who had no buzz whatsoever, and that all changed once this battle was over. In what was both men's second UFC fight - with Reyes coming in with a KO victory and Kim a KO loss - the unknown warriors traded bombs in a brawl that saw multiple momentum shifts and left the audience wondering how the hell these guys were still ticking.

The end came in the third round when Kim finally succumbed to the the barrage Reyes had continuously unloaded upon him. The fact that the fight ended before the third round concluded was disappointing for the fans but it was undoubtedly best for the careers of the men in the cage, as the amount of damage both guys incurred during the 11 minutes and 52 seconds of this melee was unbelievable
