5 Big Ways WWE Shook Things Up In The 'Superstar Shake-Up'
1. The Death Of 'The Superstar Shake-Up'
Botched moves across brands with numerous superstars has left 'The Superstar Shake-Up' in pieces.
Not only have WWE only announced a number of stars moving brands via social media, they have also moved others after debuting on one brand.
Andrade, Zelina Vega and Aleister Black have all moved to SmackDown Live, after initially being announced on Raw. These moves appear to be down to personal reasons. Andrade has seemingly moved to be on the same brand as his other half Charlotte Flair. This has led his manager Vega to come with him, and Aleister also moves to be on the same brand as his wife Vega.
This has meant that this one-week event, has been dragged across two weeks now.
One superstar who should have been a big deal moving brands, was not announced at all. Samoa Joe came out and was part of a multi-man segment on this week’s Raw. Not only should Joe be a big deal, he is also WWE United States Champion.
Joe was not presented this way at all.
Long gone are the exciting and built up days of the WWE Draft. WWE could have still saved the dying shake-up, but the way it has been treated this year, they have completely killed it.
