Being limited to exclusively one brand can have its downsides. One downside is that WWE superstars on opposite brands will unlikely match-up for a year or two. This can keep us from receiving dream matches such as AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins, who have been exclusive to SmackDown Live! and Raw respectively.

Feuds, championships and wrestlers can become stale over a matter of time, no matter how great they are. This can be because the same old matches, with the same wrestlers, are being used time and again.

WWE can use this opportunity to move these WWE superstars on and revitalise those characters.

This creates fresh match-ups, new story-lines and rejuvenated stars.

This year has seen AJ Styles and Roman Reigns switch positions on the roster, which creates a whole host of new matches we can enjoy. In the Tag Team Division, we have The Usos moving over to Raw, which will give us new matches with the likes of The Revival and The Viking Raiders.

These switches have placed new stars in the main event position, which is incredibly exciting for us going forward.
