5 Biggest Winners & Losers Of The WWE Draft So Far

9. Loser: Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio may very well be the least interesting wrestler in World Wrestling Entertainment today. That isn't a comment on his ability, oh no, when the times come the former El Patron is one of the best in the world and make no mistake about that. The problem is that since returning to WWE last Autumn Del Rio has essentially been dead behind the eyes.

Del Rio was drafted to SmackDown, and has since found himself as the upper midcard guy that never wins but loses to the real big names. In truth the draft hasn't hurt Del Rio so much, as I dare say the same situation would be in play over on RAW (hi Sheamus!).

Even so, Del Rio is floating in a sea of nothingness on SmackDown Live right now. I'm not sure if one man has ever needed another so much as Del Rio requires Ricardo Rodriguez right now. WWE needs to give us a reason to care about Del Rio or they need to set him free.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
