5 Biggest Winners & Losers From WWE SmackDown (Nov 1)

5. Loser: Kane

Hey, remember when Kane was a big, scary monster?

Nope, me neither.

Kane seemingly became involved in the Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt storyline without explanation. When Orton wasn’t medically cleared to compete at Backlash, Kane wrestled in his place, and Orton aided him to a No DQ victory over Bray. The Demon has remained embroiled in the feud since, and one week removed from being screwed out of a win over Wyatt, Kane faced-off with The Viper.

The match saw the Wyatt Family return Orton’s favour from last week by interfering and handing Kane another loss. The Big Red Machine has become this feud’s personal jobber, and his stock has rarely been lower in WWE.

This isn’t a huge problem, though. Kane is close to retirement, and he’s far from the competitor he used to be. Nobody wants to see him play a huge role at this point, and while his credibility has been greatly eroded over the years, he still comes with name value. This is probably the perfect spot for him after 24 years in the business, but he’s still one of SmackDown’s biggest losers.
