2. The Elite XC Rant
This is definitely the most hilarious rant on the list. Elite XC was a short lived MMA promotion in the late 2000’s. They would only last two years but would be well known for having internet street fighter Kimbo Slice on their books.
He was set to headline an event in 2008 against veteran Ken Shamrock. However after Shamrock was forced to pull out, Seth Petruzelli was called from the undercard to fight Slice. Petruzelli would shockingly win this fight in just 14 seconds.
In a strange interview uploaded to YouTube, White alleges that Petruzelli was paid to stay on his feet and claimed Kimbo Slice “sucks” and that he couldn’t fight. Perhaps this reaction shows that the UFC saw competition in Elite XC at the time. This interview also gave birth to the now infamous “that’s f*cking illegal” line from the UFC President.
