2. A Low Ki Moment Of Hilarity

Low Ki, a man who takes himself quite seriously, was originally scheduled to wrestle former UFC sensation turned pro wrestler Matt Riddle at Bloodsport over WrestleMania Weekend. All bouts on the show were held under Submission or Knockout rules, and performed on a ring canvas without ropes or turnbuckles, to visually put over the shoot-style theme.

Ki pulled out over an alleged neck injury, but his past allergy to jobbing - he once refused to do the honours for Claudio 'Cesaro' Castagnoli, a PWG Heavyweight Champion twice his size - means that we can only infer he refused to job on the Bloodsport stage because it looked slightly more realistic than "standard" pro wrestling. Even the commentary team played up the absence in nudge-nudge, wink-wink fashion. Ki probably thought that nobody would buy his loss to a legitimate fighter. It's a wonder Ki doesn't just enter the MMA world, but we all know why he hasn't. So why hasn't he?

This is perhaps more laughable than the thought of Shane McMahon squaring up to Brock Lesnar, but the punchline was even funnier than the set-up: Riddle drafted in Minoru Suzuki, the wrestler and MMA innovator Ki cosplays as, as his replacement. Imagine anybody complaining about that card change.

Much like Ki, you'd never sell that ticket on the secondary market.
