What is it about the Graves brothers and the propensity to dig one for themselves?

Adding to the problematic woodpile that is BritWres, Sam Adonis cut a retrograde promo at a RevPro UK show on Sunday in which he referred to the audience as "f*ggots" and "retards". The crowd, quite rightly, hated this. And not in an effective, somebody-kick-his-head-in way; nobody wished to see him appear for the promotion ever again.

"He was just being a heel," some may cry out in protest.

A good heel draws punters, and doesn't repel them. He didn't use this disgusting language to convey any sort of point; he did so in order to get the crowd to react to him, and they did, in the least effective way imaginable. There's no place for this sort of cheap bullsh*t in wrestling - especially since men and women like Tommaso Ciampa and Shayna Baszler have excellently redefined the heel role - and fittingly, there is no longer any place for Adonis in RevPro.

It wasn't exactly shocking. Adonis wears a MAGA hat in Mexico, which should underscore his lack of creativity. If he were to turn up in WWE, he'd probably just apply rest holds for minutes on end.

Um.
