At Saturday Night's UFC 226, Brock Lesnar stormed the octagon to challenge Daniel Cormier to a Heavyweight Title fight.

It was a better pro wrestling angle than anything WWE has managed this year. Lesnar shoved Cormier a good few feet across the ring. Cormier's diminutive boxing coach Rosendo Sanchez retaliated. He is shorter than Finn Bálor, and still showed more bravado than the Irishman was permitted. Lesnar then took the mic, buried the heavyweight division (WWE has managed that, at least) and called out Cormier with a roaring "Motherf*cker!"

So that was completely dispiriting for fans of WWE. The man whose absence from the flagship has rendered it meaningless and inconsequential is back in UFC, and what hurts more is that he's so much more entertaining there than he is on RAW. This man would be a major heel, were WWE to actually pair him with somebody remotely popular. But, instead, we will see Roman Reigns end his torturous Universal Title reign...until McMahon realises everybody will boo him, and postpone the coronation once more. We are destined to run this Möbious strip then. Now. Forever.

Eat. Sleep. Phone it in. Make Vince mark out. Repeat.

In UFC, Brock Lesnar cuts astonishing, fiery, expletive-laden promos.

In WWE, Brock Lesnar bounces up and down a bit as Paul Heyman delivers repetitive promos thinning in quality.

In UFC, Brock Lesnar turns up for work.

In WWE...
