5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (July 6)

2. "It Was Insane"

The main event segment of Monday's RAW saw Braun Strowman trap Kevin Owens in a portable toilet, presumably in a rib at the expense of the similarly "claustrophobic" Big Cass. If that reads as cynical, consider that WWE, upon learning of his former partner's fear of heights, suspended Enzo Amore above the ring in a shark cage at last year's SummerSlam.

This is just what WWE does. Not great wrestling, not great storytelling, but mean-spirited, unfunny bullsh*t.

The Monster Among Men then dragged the Porta Potti to the stage, tackled it, and sent Owens a full foot off it, covering him in blue deodoriser. This angle was literally rancid-smelling sh*t. It was an embarrassment, but not according to WWE, who saw fit to release an official statement declaring it "Insane".

The only word, really, is pathetic. This braggadocios statement was truly pathetic - only marginally less so than the Kevin Owens character, who is utterly hapless at this point. Owens is a heel at once cowardly, impotent, weak, and thick. He has nothing going for him, so much so that we can only feel sympathy towards him. He is the heel in this scenario.

Owens in this series is as disadvantaged as Hulk Hogan was at Uncensored 1996, and that shower of sh*te was still far more entertaining than this.
