5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (March 22)

4. Bigger And Bigger AND BIGGER AND BIGGER

According to Ringside News - who pathetically stole the hard, impressive work of Brandon Thurston and Wrestlenomics - WWE isn't merely tinkering with the WrestleMania attendance, in their customary cheeky way.

They are getting more and more brazen with the lie.

Thurston determined the above discrepancies with a huge deep-dive into WWE's KPI documents, in which the company, for the given quarter, publishes average attendance numbers including and excluding WrestleMania. In 2008, WWE inflated the figure, as the company has done since time immemorial, but to a somewhat viable extent, in that only 8935 fans were dreamed up. As the years went by, the number of pretend attendees escalated. By 2013, the number rose to 11776, just an entire extra arena, no big deal. By 2016, WWE had added an extra 21963 to the shoot figure - 1174 more than Madison Square Garden's capacity.

WWE in contrast determines the worked attendance by making it up out of thin air. Vince, in a conference call, explained the inflated WrestleMania 32 figure to investors by including, quote, "ushers and ticket takers and all of that". If the roster expands further, WWE can actually justify this practise in the coming years.

"The WrestleMania 36 figure included ushers and ticket takers and Impact castaways we have no intention of using and all of that."
