5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (May 18)

1. All Out

Vince Russo

You know what's confusing, bro?

Vince Russo is like a mark, but then some smarts came out, bro. Probably to illustrate the duality of his character, bro. Mark and smart, bro. He seems very marky, but the smarts burn deep inside, bro. It's contradictory, but there is duality, bro.

All well and good. But Cody Rhodes was NOT IMPRESSED.

The organiser and originator of what's already the most successful independent wrestling show of all time was quick to call out the combative former WWE and WCW scribe for his confrontational tone on Twitter in the wake of the announcement that he'd be part of the Saturday 'Starrcast' podcast convention. Ever keen to stir sh*t and talk it, Russo went in swinging on Twitter but was rapidly caught by Cody's knockout blow, bro.

Did Cody see the promo Russo cut on him in the aftermath? Probably not, what with him busy continuing to promote an already sold out show. It didn't stop Russo 'shooting' all the same, sadly for him not in the way that got the decision reconsidered. Much like his bizarre 2002 WWE return, he was gone again as quick as he was there. Exiting the industry's revolving door before he'd even passed the first security checks.

That's the mark. Not smart, bro.
