5 Must-See Fights For Conor McGregor After UFC 257
4. Rafael dos Anjos
These two were originally set to face each other for the lightweight title at UFC 196, but due to Rafael dos Anjos suffering a broken foot, he was replaced with Nate Diaz which set up those two exceptional bouts.
Ever since then, dos Anjos has repeatedly called out McGregor, but the Irishman has either been involved in other big fights or been "retired". However, with RDA's successful return to lightweight against Paul Felder at UFC Fight Night 182 last year, this fight could change from a fight we could've seen to a fight we will see.
The former 155lb champion looked fantastic against Felder, mixing up his slick boxing with his grappling exceptionally well. However, he has been in a number of wars over the years. Those bouts with Tony Ferguson and Eddie Alvarez, plus losses at welterweight to significantly bigger opponents means that he's taken his fair share of damage.
With dos Anjos' grappling acumen, it would never be an easy fighter for anyone at lightweight. However, for an accurate striker like McGregor, this might be the perfect bout to get him back towards a title shot.
