5 New Booking Directions For Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal
1. Feuding With Cena
Love him or hate him, it's an undeniable fact that an inordinate amount of WWE wrestlers, over the last 10 years, have produced their best work when paired up with John Cena.
We all know that this is true of the likes of Umaga, The Great Khali, Bobby Lashley, Bray Wyatt and Rusev - but it can even be said of some of the very best wrestlers in the world like CM Punk, Edge and Kevin Owens. For whatever reason (perhaps the fact that he gets more time in the ring) the guy simply brings the best out of people.
There are no guarantees that he could do the same for Jinder Mahal, but with a body of evidence that big, it's surely the something the company will want to try heading into next year, particularly since Big Match John doesn't seem to have any obvious opponent waiting for him on April 8.
This is a feud that, in hindsight, perhaps should have happened back in the summer, when Cena briefly flirted with a pursuit of the WWE Title only to suffer defeat in his number one contender's match with Shinsuke Nakamura (who came out of his program with the Modern Day Maharaja a little worse for wear himself).
