5 Positives & Negatives Heading Into WWE Hell In A Cell 2016
4. Positive - A Women’s Main Event
Building on that earlier point, not only do we have a jam-packed triple main event to look forward to, but one of those main event meetings involves a couple of the company’s female stars.
This marks another huge step in the right direction for the WWE and its female division, as Sasha Banks and Charlotte look set to do what no women have ever done before in co-headlining a WWE PPV.
Of course, it’s not just the fact that they’re in the main event spot that makes this one so significant; it’s the fact that they’re being allowed to do another female-first in WWE history by stepping inside of Hell in a Cell.
Whichever way you look at this, it’s great news for the women’s division and a historic chapter in company history. Often we cite the episode of Raw that Lita and Trish Stratus headlined back in December 2004, but at Hell in a Cell 2016, Sasha Banks and Charlotte are set to well and truly smash that achievement out of the park when they set a pair of women’s division records.
Oh, and on top of all that, it’s probably going to be a brilliant match to boot.
