5 Positives & Negatives Heading Into WWE Hell In A Cell 2016
3. Positive - Strowman Has Some Competition
Away from the main event scene, and there are further positives to savour as we head into Hell in a Cell, one of which relates to jobber-slayer extraordinaire, Braun Strowman.
For weeks we’ve seen Strowman destroy all manner of local athletes, in segments that were often one of the highlights of Monday Night Raw. It was, however, just starting to get a little tedious. As great as it can be, there are only so many ways in which we can see guys getting rag-dolled around the ring on a show-to-show basis.
Which is why it’s great that in the past couple of weeks we’ve seen the ultimate underdog, Sami Zayn, step up to the plate and answer Strowman’s demand for some proper competition.
Zayn then went on to slap the big guy right across the chops on this week’s show, before eventually finding out how those jobbers felt as Strowman boomeranged him into the barricade.
While an official one-on-one meeting looks likely, at the time of writing the two haven’t officially been booked into a match for Hell in a Cell this Sunday. Even if that remains the case though, this has been an interesting twist on a storyline that was starting to get really old really fast.
