Every wrestling fan likes a good underdog story. From Brian Kendrick beating Abyss to win the X-Division Championship, to Daniel Bryan beating both Randy Orton and Batista to win the WWE World Championship, underdogs almost always win the hearts of the fans. With that being said, a great David vs. Goliath style storyline that could happen in AEW would see Darby Allin take on Mr. Brodie Lee.

Although Darby Allin is currently locked in a feud with Team Taz (Taz, Ricky Starks and Brian Cage), Mr. Brodie Lee is almost certainly going to enjoy a long reign as TNT Champion. Because of this, it would not be surprising if Darby Allin came out on top against Team Taz and then used that momentum to push into the TNT Championship picture.

Much like Mr. Brodie Lee, Darby Allin has had an unsuccessful shot at claiming the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, so a TNT Championship run would be the next best way for AEW to capitalize on Allin’s huge popularity.
