CM Punk is no Spring chicken. Although he has been training for a while in the world of BJJ, he's still thirty-six years old. He's starting his MMA career later than Brock Lesner, later than Bobby Lashley. Making the transition from fake fighting to the real kind this late in the game will be rough.

Make no mistake, CM Punk is an entertaining fellow, and a true athlete, but we're looking at a case of too little, too late on this one.

At least we might be - we'd be happy to be proven wrong!
