5 Reasons John Cena Heel Turn Is Impossible

1. He Wouldn't Be A Believable Heel

John Cena€™s good guy character has been carefully cultivated over years and years. Though he has barely changed over that time, he has proven to many people that he is a tireless workhorse, who does what he€™s told, and he€™s someone who goes out of his way to make the younger audience happy. Given some of the aforementioned reasons for why he shouldn€™t turn heel, if he were to actually turn heel, he simply wouldn€™t be believable in that role. His die-hard fan base would in all likelihood cheer him just as much as his most devout detractors continue to jeer him no matter what he does. In order for John to actually become a full-fledged heel, he would have to do something despicable, even by WWE standards, to actually get the kind of reaction a top heel is supposed to get. Right now, Cena€™s detractors boo him out of sheer rebellion; they€™re just tired of being spoon fed John Cena every week. In contrast, if Cena were to turn heel, many of these detractors would be so elated that they would cheer him like CM Punk or Steve Austin. A heel turn wouldn€™t make sense for WWE because there wouldn€™t be a uniform reaction to him. Just as children cheer him and adult males boo him now, a heel John Cena would get booed by the children and quite possibly cheered loudly by the older fans. So it just doesn€™t make sense from a business standpoint for him to be turned just to placate a smaller, yet no less loud, demographic of the audience. So there you have it; 5 big reasons why John Cena turning heel anytime soon is impossible.
