5 Reasons Lesnar vs Cena At Night Of Champions Was WWE Match Of The Year

4. The Curbstomp

Well, even if unsuccessful, the WWE Universe needed to see Seth Rollins being able to hit his move on Brock Lesnar. The memes that have spread across the WWE Universe regarding the humor surrounding the idea of Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase versus Brock have been rampant. However, those can all stop now because after taking four "Attitude Adjustments" and being locked in the STF for three minutes, Seth Rollins causing a DQ, hitting Lesnar with the curbstomp, and then handing over the briefcase was exciting. Of course Cena cut him off, and without needing a pinfall, Seth Rollins was made into a credible main eventer. As well, Rollins elevates the returning Dean Ambrose into the main event mix (as Ambrose and Rollins have a pre-existing issue) and those two join their recuperating Shield brother Roman Reigns in the top-of-the-card mix. While many in the WWE Universe may be angry that Rollins didn't successfully cash in his briefcase, the briefcase being used as a prop by which to elevate Rollins through exciting action was impressive. Rollins versus Cena seems more than likely. However, Rollins possibly mixing it up with Lesnar, too? Heel versus heel is difficult to effectively pull off, but it could certainly be fun watching these two grapplers try.
