5 Reasons Why Last Night's WWE Raw Was The Best Of 2019
1. Brock's Reminder
In the current day and age, the bulk of people find Brock Lesnar to be quite the stale character in WWE, mainly due to the fact that he's hardly ever there and then when he is, it's always the same old, same old. A barrage of German suplexes and F5s in (typically) short matches.
Because of this, fans tend to forget just how good he can be when he manhandles his opponents. That's exactly what he did to his SummerSlam challenger Seth Rollins here. After intruding Rollins' bout with Dolph Ziggler, 'The Beast Incarnate' ragdolled 'The Beast Slayer' all over the ringside area before destroying him with a steel chair. Three F5s on to the chairs followed, as Lesnar once again cemented himself as one of the most feared men on the roster.
This is exactly what was needed for Rollins at the moment. WWE seemingly want to position him as the face of the company, which has led him to make some comments online towards the likes of Will Ospreay and All Elite Wrestling. Even though these remarks haven't made that much of WWE's core audience turn against him, it still leaves a bad taste in the mouth. This beatdown made us all feel sympathy for him though.
Things couldn't have been better. Let's just hope things are as great as this come SummerSlam.
