5 Reasons Why You Should Be Watching "MLW FUSION" Each Week

3. The Storylines

WWE television has been rated PG for over a decade, for the benefit of oodles of advertiser dollars. It's a lucrative profit stream, and not about to change any time soon.

MLW, on the other hand, does not have a PG rating or any sort of advisory-based rating. In turn, it is free to feature edgier content, or at least, it is far less limited when it comes to what can and cannot be shown on its programming. In turn, The Hart Foundation can film segments which imply the usage of cannabis, The CONTRA Unit can violently attack other competitors, Myron Reed is free to partake in a racially-oriented storyline about being silenced and so forth.

It is refreshing to see a wrestling promotion that gives a well-thought "why" when it comes to feuding talent. It is not always belt-seeking or a desire to prove who is "the best in the world" when it comes to MLW creative.
