5 Reasons WWE Shouldn't Split The New Day

1. Potential Feuds With New Opponents

We’re only just scratching the surface with what The New Day can do in the refreshed tag division. The Wyatt Family story is a logical clash between opposing forces and promises a satisfying conclusion should it not result in The New Day’s split, and the future is rife with possibilities.

The New Day vs. Enzo & Big Cass. Good lord, just imagine the promos. Take five of the company’s best talkers and throw them into a storyline, WWE: you’d be printing money for months. The alignments don’t match-up, but that shouldn’t matter too much: The New Day are smarmy and obnoxious enough to work as heels if need be, while Enzo Amore could probably cut a promo on your mother and still come-off endearing and charming.

A long-term Anderson & Gallows vs. The New Day programme, meanwhile, would provide the biggest personality clash in the division. AJ Styles’ sidekicks have endured a rocky start to WWE life, but find themselves high up the card, and their no-nonsense style makes them a perfect foil for The New Day’s shenanigans.

There are just too many fresh match-ups for The New Day in the current tag division, particularly if rumours that NXT’s American Alpha are en route to the main roster prove to be true.
