Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal made his return to RAW a few weeks ago, and the creative team has pushed him like a credible star. While it is refreshing to see him away from The Singh Brothers, it would be fantastic if they build him up as a premier superstar this year before giving him a world title push. Three years ago, Vince McMahon had committed a massive blunder by inserting Mahal in the main event scene without any buildup.

That sudden push drew a negative response from the fans. Top champion of the flagship show Drew McIntyre has some history with 'The Modern Day Maharaja,' so the creative should keep them away in 2020. Mahal should have a proper stay in the mid-card where he can win a few feuds and establish himself as a worthy contender for the title.

At the same time, McIntyre can defend his title against the likes of Aleister Black, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and other stars who have been a prominent part of the red brand for the last few months.
