5 Theories About What The Undertaker Whispered In Bray Wyatt's Ear

2. "If You Ever Need A Partner..."

There might be something else to that expression - something actually positive.

The Undertaker doesn't seem to be the most emotional chap. That's not to say he's a cyborg or anything. He might be capable of feeling. He's been married, three times in fact, and once, during the Slammy awards, he made a plea to save his first one. In character, of course. "JL, you were always on my mind," he said, wearing his gimmicks lol. Now, much of this article is packed with snark, but he did actually say that as a shoot.

The Undertaker is an old romantic, even if he used the same voice with which he tells his storyline opponents to rest in peace.

He's also capable of friendship. He speaks very fondly of the times he shared with Kane, for example, and enjoys reminiscing about his camaraderie with the Bone Street Krew. It's difficult to imagine 'Taker actually expressing his fondness for his mates out loud, but playing bones in the dressing room of the Hartford Civic Center is his way of saying "I love you, man".

So was the Undertaker, by looking at Wyatt with such detachment, actually offering to have his back?

It makes sense from a booking perspective, you know: Bray Wyatt, not the best wrestler, was a not inconsiderable part of those electrifying six-man matches with the Shield - and a thrashed, past-his-prime 'Taker rolled back the years at Extreme Rules 2019 when tagging with Roman Reigns.
