5 Things To Watch On WWE Network This Week

1. WWE Chronicle: Samoa Joe

This is a bit of a curious one, because it actually hasn't aired at time of writing.

Shortly before WrestleMania 34, WWE put a new show up on the Network called Chronicle. Shinsuke Nakamura, then the challenger for AJ Styles' WWE Title in New Orleans, went under the microscope, and his journey from Royal Rumble to 'Mania was examined in depth.

Since then, Chronicle has gone quiet. Now, it's making a return right in time for SummerSlam, and it's Samoa Joe who will be studied this time. The documentary will chart Joe's return from injury shortly after WrestleMania this year and follow his journey from comeback king to WWE Title challenger on the second-biggest pay-per-view of 2018.

It promises to be an in-depth look at one of the most passionate, driven and ambitious men on the WWE roster today. WWE will have to be careful here; Joe is such a likeable dude away from the ring that he could become a de facto babyface for some before Sunday's show.
